-Upcoming Senior at Troy University -Currently have a 3.34GPA; 3.789 Math and Science GPA -Pre-Medical Sciences Major -During Fall Semester(2016) I will be working with faculty conducting research for Troy University. -Previous major was Nursing; this consisted of lecturing and clinical experiences. -In the process of working part-time at Southeast Alabama Medical Center as a Patient Care Assistant on the surgical floor.
Experience
I am currently a tutor for Study Room, an online tutor service for all college students nationwide. I tutor Anatomy and Physiology, Microbiology, and other Biological sciences. As for my top subjects, I finished both Anatomy and Physiology I and II with over a 95% average. I went into the final of Microbiology with a 97% average as well. I have not taken Basic Biology in college because my major did not require it; however, I have high interest in the subject and am knowledgeable with Biology and sciences alike. The reason I want to tutor is primarily because I love to help others out. This is also the reason why I am pursuing a degree in the medical field - I just simply love helping others. I also enjoy figuring things out and understanding the true reasoning for what ever it may be, which is why I take interest in studying and academics. Furthermore, to be able to help others who may have difficulty with a particular subject excites me greatly.

Hobbies
I've been told and consider myself as an outgoing individual. I love outdoor activities, spending time with others, and meeting new people, but when it comes time to work and academics I am very focused and discipline. As I have stated before, I am pursing a pre-medical degree at Troy University. One of the biggest reasons I made this decision, beside my personality of helping others, is because I absolutely love to figure out problems. I take high interest in thinking and conducting research to find underlying problems to reach a specific goal. I apply this to almost all aspects of my academics, but also apply this to my everyday life. With this in hand, I feel that I would be a great asset as a tutor.
